Additionally, Uber’s pursuit of Delivery Hero, a European firm that rejected a 10 billion euro acquisition offer in May, could also play a role in their decision. It appears that Uber is still eager to negotiate the deal. According to an industry informant, pausing additional growth may alleviate anxieties about a prospective acquisition due to the fact that Delivery Hero provides delivery services in several of the intended countries.
