“Unlike a conventional play, Cinderella is a grand musical dance-drama that combines fantasy, music, choreography, and theatrical spectacle. While inspired by the timeless fairy tale, the production has been uniquely adapted for Indian audiences with specially created characters, vibrant storytelling, and emotionally engaging performances,” a note from Prabhath Kalavidaru said.
The music for Cinderella was originally composed by Mysore Ananthaswamy and has recently been revived by Praveen D. Rao. The production also features the iconic voice of the late Dr. S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. Directed by T.V. Gopinathdas and choreographed by Hema Prabhath (of America America fame), the production stars Harish Prabhath and Deepashree Harish in the lead roles.
‘Cinderella’ will be staged on June 13, 2026 (Saturday) at Ravindra Kalakshetra in Bengaluru at 7 p.m. For enquiries and details, contact 9448200676 / 9448574370
