Meta made a Tamagotchi-like wearable for its Muse AI agent

The AI amulet is a common concept in the tech industry, with devices like Friend making it a mundane idea. Despite this, Meta has entered the market with its own AI wearable, the Muse Charm, offering an alternative way to interact with its popular personal AI agent, Muse. CEO Mark Zuckerberg presented the device at the annual Connect event, but it is not available for shipping at the moment. Mark Zuckerberg revealed that his team is in the process of completing the configuration of the components and assured that the devices will be prepared for shipping in December just in time for the holiday season. The Muse agent, currently represented by a charming digital character called Jolly, resides within a compact totem that users can easily transport in their pockets or affix to a keychain. The gadget includes a small display featuring an icon that signifies the agent. People can communicate with the gadget, which is likely to perform actions on their behalf. “We incorporated the entire Muse functionality, including the real-time voice and avatar system, into a compact device that can be carried around and is constantly available for conversation,” Zuckerberg stated during his speech on Wednesday. Just touch the fingerprint sensor located in the corner, and you can begin conversing without needing to unlock your phone or launch an application. Zuckerberg stated, “In case you’re not utilizing glasses, this method will probably be significantly quicker for communicating with your inspiration and exhibiting what’s happening nearby.” Suitable for its features, the gadget possesses a somewhat Tamagotchi-like quality – a lightweight, character-filled tool designed to maintain constant connectivity to Meta’s software for its users.
