Toronto Police say Drug Squad officers – with assistance from the Emergency Task Force – executed a search warrant in the Warden-14th Aves. area in Markham on March 5.
“It is alleged that the address was being used for the processing and packaging of cannabis, some of which was seized by the RCMP Border Integrity Unit being exported in suitcases to the United Kingdom,” Det.-Sgt. Jennifer Cash, of the Drug Squad, said in a statement released Wednesday.
“A quantity of cannabis, cannabis products and psilocybin were seized,” she alleged. “The address, or persons associated to the address, are not registered with Health Canada for the production or distribution of cannabis.”

Cash said one suspect was located inside the address when officers executed the search warrant.
