Samsung TVs break the language barrier for viewers: The devices can translate shows in real-time into seven different languages.

Samsung brings a popular feature from phones and tablets to its TVs, announces Tech Crunch. At CES 2025, the company unveiled Live Translate, a real-time translation feature for live broadcasts. How Samsung’s new TV feature works According to the source, the Live feature will work in seven languages, although it is not clear exactly which ones. The system translates the subtitles of a broadcast, not the live audio. The Live feature was introduced in early 2024 on Galaxy S24 phones, where it works in 13 languages. Improvements for people with visual impairments Samsung is also introducing an AI-based feature called Voice Removal with Audio Subtitles. This will “analyze the subtitles, isolate the voices, and adjust the reading speed for a smooth experience,” the company says. These features will be available on the 2025 TV lineup. There is no information about compatibility with older models.
