Olivia Brado’s two-year-old daughter, Salem, started saying, “papa, papa,” and at that point her mom assumed it was because her daughter wanted to visit her grandpa.

Upon closer inspection, the toy that young Salem was clutching in that moment was actually modelled after her grandpa.

The mom said her daughter had recently inherited a bag of hand-me-down toys from her cousins, toys that included some items from Fisher-Price’s popular “Little People” line of figures, vehicles and interactive playsets for toddlers, according to people.com, .

“We were at my mom’s house and we dumped out the bag of toys and she started picking through them,” Brado said, per people.com. “Then I kept hearing her say, ‘Papa, papa.’”

Brado said Salem often visits her grandpa at his workplace.

“So when I heard, ‘Papa’ over and over, I thought she just wanted to see him.”

Brado and her mom eventually figured out what was happening.

“My mom looked at it and said, ‘Does she think it’s your dad?’” Brado said. “And I took a closer look and sure enough, it looks just like him. My mom and I looked at each other and just started dying laughing.”
