In the robbery, which occurred on Wednesday, a young man and three teenage boys were charged after approximately $100,000 worth of jewelry was recovered. According to York Regional Police, they received reports just before 5:30 p.m. that five masked individuals entered a jewelry store located at Yonge St. and Davis Dr., armed with hammers. They smashed display cases and filled duffel bags with jewelry.
