Funeral home hands golf day proceeds to beneficiaries

Springs – The Tshipi Noto Funeral Home handed the proceeds of its 2024 golf day to beneficiaries at the Bellamore Beauty Bar in Selcourt on Thursday.
The charity golf day was in October at the Pollak Park Golf Club.
Speaking on behalf of the Phelang School in Kwa-Thema, Dan Senokoane said they had enjoyed a fruitful relationship with the funeral home.
“We are humbled by the kindness towards us. This partnership has meant that every time we ask for their assistance, they always come on board. Even our buses fill up at their service station,” he said.
Senokoane said Tshipi Noto recently donated 100 pairs of school shoes and R40 00 to the Phelang and Matshidiso schools and the Mpho Madi organisation.
“The golf day was successful. Our main sponsor was Vodacom. We also reached out to other businesses, and many pitched in,” said Gontse Tshipi from Tshipi Noto.
The principal of Matshidiso School in Tsakani was grateful for the gesture.
“The proceeds are about the children; nothing else. We will soon decide which project in our school will be injected with these funds,” he said.
The Phelang and Matshidiso schools cater to learners with special educational needs.
The representatives also received messages for their hard work.
