Mr. Weber, Vice President and General Manager of the Android & Business Communication team at Google, has spent more than two decades transforming how we communicate. As a founding member of Jibe Mobile, acquired by Google in 2015, he was instrumental in the global adoption of Rich Communication Services (RCS). A visionary technologist, Elmar initiated the effort and defined core concepts for the Universal Profile for RCS, now adopted industry-wide. He was also the catalyst for RCS for Business, paving the way for modern business messaging with richer, more secure customer interactions and improved conversion rates.
