Right Track Nutrition wants customers on the ‘right track’ for health

Like so many other business owners, Viera started her enterprise by selling products from her home for four years before moving into a storefront. Viera serves healthy smoothies, energizing tea and soothing aloe. Some of the items sold in Right Track Nutrition in downtown Amherst. (Bob Stascak – For The Morning Journal)Right Track Nutrition also carries a protein iced coffee and grab and go items.Some of the best-selling items include the herbal Mega Teas and the Lift Off, which has a lot of B-12 vitamins, Viera said. There also are shakes which have 21 vitamins and 24 grams of protein, cookies, protein bites and snacks, she said. In addition, Viera offers coaching and accountability, free wellness profiles and more. Dalitza Viera, owner of Right Track Nutrition (Submitted)The mission of Right Track Nutrition is to make the community healthier and happier. “When I had the opportunity to expand my business, I wanted to help other people with their health issues,” Viera said. “I was now in the position to help them lose weight and have more energy.” Viera said she used her own health journey as motivation to help others, as she successfully lost 40 pounds. “I enjoy meeting new people,” she said. “Many of my customers have become good friends over the years. “I plan workout routines and update our information on social media. The business has grown due to the support of the community, word of mouth, social media, and I have helped to grow the interest of the Spanish community.” Right Track Nutrition has helped the Amherst community to become more active and healthy and to let people know that they don’t have to go this journey alone, Viera said. “We will still be having our Saturday morning Salsa Dance classes, along with weight loss challenges,” she said. “The city of Amherst has been very supportive.” Right Track Nutrition is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.
