(WIBW) – Muffin thinks having a fur-ever family would be a marvelous way to spend the holidays.The year-old long-haired cat visited Eye on NE Kansas with Emi Griess of Helping Hands Humane Society.Emi said Muffin and most other cats and dogs age five months and older are $0 to adopt through Sunday, Dec. 14, thanks to a gift from Hill’s Pet Nutrition.Emi said HHHS is looking forward to its annual Christmas for the Animals event. Shelter staff feed the animals a special meal and give each a toy.
