Toronto Blue Jays fan Dean Angelo has gone viral after being spotted behind home plate.
Move over, Home Plate Lady—there’s a new viral Blue Jays fan in town.
Despite the presence of 44,655 fans at Game 1 of the American League Division Series between the Blue Jays and New York Yankees at Rogers Centre, one fan stood out: a jacked Blue Jays supporter.
Social media erupted once again for the man with an Incredible Hulk-like physique, with many users on X and TikTok inquiring about his identity.

Another fan shared a broadcast image from 2023 that also featured the imposing figure with long hair, questioning if it was the same person.
After some investigation, it was revealed that the fan is Dean Angelo, a personal trainer based in Toronto. Angelo was identified by Jesse Kirshenbaum, co-founder of BarDown and current host of the BClutch podcast in partnership with Bet99.
“I went home from the game after the Yankees series, and honestly, I got home and my girlfriend and I got into a fight,” Angelo recounted to Kirshenbaum about the moment he realized he had gone viral. “I received a flood of texts from kids I used to train. I didn’t have TikTok, and they sent me a bunch of TikToks.”
“I was like, ‘Oh wow, look at what’s happening.’ She was really upset about it. I thought, ‘Okay, maybe this isn’t a good thing,’ but it was wild to see.”
