EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. — Alec Baldwin and his younger brother Stephen were unharmed after their vehicle collided with a tree in New York. In an Instagram video shared late Monday, Alec Baldwin recounted that he was driving his wife’s Range Rover in East Hampton when a garbage truck, which he described as “the size of a whale,” cut him off.
The 67-year-old actor and his 59-year-old brother, who is also an actor, were returning from the Hamptons International Film Festival, where Alec serves as co-chair of the Executive Committee. He reported that while neither he nor Stephen sustained injuries, their vehicle suffered significant damage. The elder Baldwin expressed gratitude to the East Hampton police for their prompt response and management of the incident. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported.
