Emergency services in Surrey are searching for a six-year-old boy last seen on Saturday evening.

On Sunday morning, Surrey Police Service spokesperson Staff Sgt. Lindsey Houghton said that Khang Tran was last seen between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. at Northview Park in Fraser Heights.

Police were notified at around 8 p.m.

Surrey police, the RCMP Surrey provincial operations support unit, South Fraser Search and Rescue and the RCMP’s urban patrol helicopter are all involved in the search.

Tran has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a blue jacket, grey pants and green shoes. Khang is non-verbal and may appear confused or disoriented.

Anyone who sees Khang Tran is asked to contact police immediately.
