The key to creating this look is to start with a simple and minimal makeup base. My base consists of foundation, concealer, bronzer and a neutral lip colour.

To enhance my eyes in one step, I used the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Cupcake. This shade is the perfect mix of pastel pink and lavender and the easy-to-use multi stick is designed for quick and effortless application. It can be used as a liner and a primer, it’s highly pigmented, ultra-creamy and super blendable.

Note: The pastel trend this time around is less about frosty formulations and leaning more toward the iridescent, satin, shimmery and metallic finishes.

To play up the pastel theme, I amped up the blush using MAC Powder Blush in Pink Swoon. It’s a soft candy pink shade with a satin finish.
