opinion
This weekend we are suggesting a lot of new games that are heavily inspired by specific old games. Agent 64 and Wild Blue Skies are GoldeEye/Perfect Dark and Star Fox 64 throwbacks respectively. Even Duskfade has some real original Kingdom Hearts energy to it, though it is more of an action platformer than an action-RPG.
But we also have a new Madden, which I suppose you could make an argument is technically a remake of an old game. It’s just one they’ve been remaking for a really long time. You can read our Madden review here, which has an exciting byline if you’ve been a fan of Game Informer for many years. We’re happy to have new words on the site from Matthew Kato!
