After killer quarter, Palantir CEO Alex Karp calls AI industry ‘Marxist’

In a recent shareholder letter, Palantir CEO Alex Karp, a philosopher and PhD in social theory, cautioned against the unreliability of AI frontier labs for businesses. He suggested that such capitalists could lead to the emergence of Marxist socialism, as there are Marxist implications in Palantir’s operations. Karp highlighted these themes in discussing the company’s successful quarter. “Other individuals, including numerous those constructing extensive language models, aim, deliberately or inadvertently, to seize control of the production methods of their alleged associates.” To avoid any confusion, it should be noted that AI research facilities have not completely dominated Palantir’s position in the industry. This achievement was highlighted during a conference call with financial analysts, where the executive utilized technical terminology and a ‘tech bro patriot’ jargon typically associated with defense technology corporations to further elucidate his point. The top management of Palantir is comprised entirely of men.
