Chevy built an all-American EV truck — why is nobody buying it?

Though I spent my formative years moving my dad’s Chevrolet S-275 pickup truck from the passenger seat, I am not precisely the ideal consumer for Chevy. I prefer hatchbacks to cargo beds. Following a day of exploring Detroit in the Silverado EV, I discovered that Chevrolet could potentially transform me into a truck enthusiast. The vehicle operates very much like a car. Though the bed is enormous, its underbed storage is spacious. I can comfortably stretch my unfortunately lengthy legs in the rear seat, and the interior is peaceful. During a hurricane, it can supply power to your home, and it can pull, guide, and drive on the highway without any manual intervention. Additionally, it is capable of traveling more than 2400 miles on a single charge. A perfect match for an enthusiast of American pickups, and still, it hasn’t been selling rapidly from dealerships.
