15 passengers injured as pilgrim vehicle overturns near Kottiyoor in Kerala

Several pilgrims were injured after a traveller van carrying devotees to Kottur overturned near St. George LP School at Ambayathode on Thursday morning.

The vehicle carrying a group of pilgrims from neighbouring state of Karnataka reportedly lost control and met with the accident at around 10 am. As many 15 passengers sustained injuries in the accident.

The injured were shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital, Mananthavady, for treatment.
