With Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2026) drawing near, anticipation is growing for what the company has planned this year. There’s plenty to anticipate, from Siri’s major revamp to the latest Apple Intelligence features. Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference begins Monday at 10 a.m. 13 val. arba PT. For those eager to watch, the event will be livestreamed on the Apple Developer app, Apple’s website, and the Apple Developer YouTube channel. The highlight fans are most excited about is a major AI overhaul for Siri that will turn it into a far more conversational assistant, able to understand context, manage multi-step requests, and interact more naturally with apps and services. The upgraded Siri is set to integrate Google’s Gemini technology to significantly boost its performance. In addition, Bloomberg has recently revealed details about a dedicated Siri app designed to rival leading AI chatbots such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Apple is reportedly planning to add a messaging-style feature that lets users automatically delete conversations after 30 days, one year, or keep them forever. The company also intends to integrate AI agents with the App Store, according to The Information. Although information is limited, agents enable users to offload various tasks, including making reservations, handling daily chores, editing documents, and managing smart home devices. The Camera app is expected to gain a new “Visual Intelligence” section that will replace the previous Visual Intelligence option tied to the Camera Control button. This update will add a dedicated Siri option alongside modes such as Photo, Video, Portrait, and Panorama.
